Insurance Query

Just a question away from the norm. My car is currently sat stored away, and will probably do no more than 1500 miles this year due to work commitments away. Next year will be even less (God bless the Army). I was wondering if anyone has dealt with insurance companies who insure cars that will do low miles? Difficult, granted, due to the car being an import, but I thought it was worth a query with the geniuses on here.

Also, and if this has been asked and answered before slap me, but could the car qualify for 'classic' car insurance? Are there any stipulations?

Cheers, Foxy.

Your car has to be 20 years old or more to qualify for classic car insurance.

Most insurance companies have what is called a "limited mileage" policy.... starting from 7500 miles a year and going down. Each bracket with their respective annual discount... just ask for one.

Also take off "commuting" if you don't go to and from a regular place of work/train station etc. This should also reduce your premium
