Intake has gone quiet!

Evening all

Had a dc header fitted this week and since then the intake has become almost oem sounding.

Currently I'm running
Dc 4-2-1
TegM intake
Mugen twin loop
Kpro.

The only differenceiI've made is going from decat on oem manifold to the dc manifold. Previosly the intake was loud and characteristically a scream at too end. Now, it's almost non audible almost oem.

The exhaust note has clearly changed and the car does feel much more 'eager' but the lack of intake noise is plain weird.

Anyone else noted similarwwhen changing manifild, or do I need to be checking things more deeply?

aftermarket headers have thinner metal , think it has made everything louder and because of this it muffles the sound of the intake?
Very noticeable going from oem( with cat) to aftermarket header

The tegiwa intake sounds almost b series loud on crossover. Obviously the engine noise is louder and exhaust note is too, but with the increase in air flow, I'd think the intake volume would follow suit?

Nope. Exactly the same.
Still pulling damn strong though.
Just not what I was expecting is all.

I'll get a kpro log going I think. Well, when I figure out how to do it
