Intake manifold

Hi all

Now my toda is on, it's intake time.

I've seen the skunk intakes, they look good but I've heard the gains aren't that great?

Before I go down the route of 70mm RBC/RRC I'm just trying to get a feel of what's worth what in terms of bang for your buck!

Thanks

As far as I know the Skunk makes good power, very similar to the RRC so maybe which ever is the best price

RBC not quite as good but will be cheaper, 70mm throttle body will work well if cammed up along with a good exhaust manifold an intake etc but won't make that much difference if engine is fairly standard

There's a US site that has dynos of them all I think.
Basically, unless your going cams / internal work, rbc is best bang for buck.
Rrc and skunk are more power, but not much for a price tag of around double.

Just to echo some of the points I'm running a port matched RBC and standard throttle body on my cammed engine and it runs very well indeed.

70mm throttle for me was a no go I couldn't warrant the change in drivability for the little difference it was making tbh (I did try out a Js racing 70mm when we mapped the engine).

Depends what your long term goal is tbh buddy.
