Interior light flickering

The interior light started flickering since yesterday... When you have the keys in the ignition it seems fine... It's not til after you exit the car that it starts to flash and flicker... Bulb on the way out? Or something more sinister that I should be aware of?

I believe that means the battery is on the way out.
