Did this on a work ramp. Car was high enough to get up onto the ramp, but unfortunately not high enough to get over the raised metal edging. (The one that stops your wheel from going off the inside edge of the ramp)

Have had a look at it and the metal that is bent in is only thin (about 1mm thick) which is probably why I did'nt feel it bending as I was reversing up the ramp. And this makes me think it isn't a major chassis part and not too serious. Any help would be appreciated. cheers,

Ollie.

Nah, just get some underseal on it to stop the damp and rust getting a hold.

I'm hoping that's the case. I'll probably try and pull it back out before I underseal it. Cheers

Agree with Lee - I'd dry it out well with a heat gun, maybe have a bit of primer on there first where it's through to the metal, and then underseal.

Don't put it off, do it urgently! :D

Since you're in Gosport and not too far from TGM, if I was in your shoes I'd let Tom take a closer look at it and possibly sort it out for you.
