what I researched from here and clubRSX.com , that, the USDM TYPE S and JDM TYPE R has a 15mm difference in wheel base is that right?
they say that JDM type R is 15mm wider? in saying this, all the 17x9 22offset RPF1 they put on their "USDM TYPE S car" is equivalent to 17x9 ~35et for JDM type R right?

so if they can install 35ET 17x9 on their USDM Type S then that's equivalent to ~50ET 17x9 on our JDM Type R..

is this correct?

so in short, 17x9 with 45ET will clear our DC5 type R, considering we need to roll the guards. yeah?

Only thing to also consider is how much you are lowering, on standard height certainly, but lowered another story.
I'm getting volk 8,5 inch wide et50 with 225-45-17 and i'm lowered on eibach sportline so i hope it works :)

17x9 et45 will work with arch rolling and camber. That is equivalent to an rsx running et30

Me personally im goin to run 8.5j et50 up front with a 245/40

I keep posting this in every wide wheel thread

Rsx running 17x9 et30 with 235/40/17, this is how et45 will sit on ours with camber and arch rolling obviously
