K100 - EP3 and DC5

Is the K100 for the EP3 and the DC5 exactly the same?

I know someone who breaks EP3's and I'm looking to get the K100 from it, will I run into any problems fitting this to the DC5?

I'll be getting a new map put on it when it's fitted also.

No, they're different!
K100 & Kpro motherboards are installed into the OEM ecu. Dc5 and ep3 ECUs are not directly interchangeable (due to O2 sensors being different, possibly other things, I'm unsure), therefore the Hondata versions are also not interchangeable.

Thanks Mark, I had a suspicion they were different.

I'll keep an eye out on here for one being sold as I won't be getting the car mapped until about July time due to work so no rush.

If one doesn't pop up, where is the best place to buy new? I'm getting Romain to map my car if I leave it down at TGM and he said 700-750 to me for the ECU and map itself.

CPL were official Hondata suppliers, not sure if that still applies.

I have a Kpro ECU to sell! I'll be selling it outright though (I don't require an exchange) and I haven't advertised it yet

I'm not sure if I would benefit from having the KPRO over K100 for what I would be using it for.

Different ECU

The K100 & Kpro is the same board but put into the ECU it is different.
