K24 Frankinsten Swap

Was watching some of the "Best Motoring International" Videos and it got me thinking along the lines of going with something different; Has anyone on here done this... Bottom end from the k24 with the k20 head, what kind of gains does this obtain?

with the right internals you would see power increase to around 270-300 bhp

the rev limit would be decreased tho.

It's an interesting option with pros and cons but if it's raw power you're after I'm sure I read the k20 still has more potential due to the options on internals and the higher rpm its capable of. I've always thought a stroker kit was quite an interesting option too. Think it increases displacement to 2.2 with more torque to boot

Stroker kit is an interesting compromise albeit an expensive one.
I would have loved to have done a stroked K20, it would be wild.

There are 2 here in Ireland that I know of happening. One getting mapped this week

hes got a stock k24a3 bottom end and stock k20a2 head.

Its the best way to make power N/A, no replacement for displacement.
