Leaking Radiator? Solution?

This problem seems to have appeared out of the blue and I'm hoping someone on here can advise on the best route to sort it.

I noticed some coolant dropping on to the ground the other day. At first I thought it may be a hose but it wasn't

The coolant seems to be leaking from the top of the radiator just where the core joins to the metal frame of the radiator. It's obviously running down and collecting on the under plastic and then dropping to the ground

Is this a common issue? I am going to take it to a rad specialist on Monday but from past experience is this something they could fix/refurb easily?

Thanks

Mine began leaking a few months ago from between where the rad meets the upper plastic section. Get a new one. I recommend the Mishimoto one, very well priced for such a big brand name or if you need to save every penny, Tegiwa do a alloy one too. Either way both will outlast the rest of the car

Mishimoto replacement is what I would recommend. Pointless spending money and time on a single core oem taking it out and getting it fixed (if possible). when the mishimoto fits perfectly (better than oem would you believe) and the lifetime warranty and is bigger than oem. Any chance for an upgrade huh :) All the oem sensors, fans etc all hook up and fit perfectly too. Not as expensive as you‘d think either.

Looking back over it, it does appear so...but nope. Ha

Does fit well though...shame not all aftermarket parts companies over here can adopt the same approach of R&D ;)

Just had the exact same problem last week. Changed to a Mishimoto last week at TGM and really pleased with the unit and reasonably priced as well.

Crack an egg in to the rad! seriously get it replaced, any fix leak stuff etc will gum up the engine
