LED near shifter box

So I was just have a play about with my k-tuned shifter box, and found this little red LED hiding down there and I don't know where it's from? Any one help?

It's not the one above the cup holders.

I also noticed a little green LED down in the passenger foot well.

Is it meant to go on the drivers side foot well?

Red led is probably for your alarm, I have a similar one in a similar location

Good call, could be, but why would it be hidden away down there lol. Surely it should be on view?

lazy installer maybe ? easy way to find out by arming/disarming

Cheers guys, seems lazy installer is correct. It's the immobiliser light. Red when armed. And green when good to go. I'll have to find some where to put it.
