Do these little blighters have enough grunt to cold start a car in the winter with 11.7:1 CR??

Any of you guys running one on a street car?

I had one of these. Ended up smoking, smoldering and melting. Needless to say, It was chucked! couldn't handle the cold and the draw from the lights, heaters etc.

In summary:- A lot of money for not a lot of gain.

My opinion:- Keep weight over the front axle and free weight from the rear :wink:

BTW that was running 12 -1 CR and no P/s and no A/c (bit less to crank over)
