Hi All,

I am currently looking to buy a DC-5 :D , I have seen many pictures but not had the chance to see one close up. If anyone gets to hear of an importer in the midlands area with a DC-5 on site can you give me a bell.

I am looking to buy one at around the £16K mark, what can I realistically expect to get for my money? Is a red one in my price range as my understanding is the red DC-5 is the rarest.

If anyone has any further info/comments please post me a reply or drop me a mail.

Thanks

Phil.

I'm from the Midlands but got mine from Blackburn (Jap Per Cars - see banner at top)This gave me opportunity to put some miles on on the way back :) They're all rare (he says with a C/W)but reds rarest - maybe just two on the road?

Welcome Phil: Look, Use and Enjoy :D

You may want to keep an eye on UMG's site - they are in Wednesbury and specialise in FTOs but have brought in a couple of DC5s. Alternatively you may do just as well to come along to Nuneaton as JOM says; there might be one or two of us around!

James, don't feel sour
Simon, if you check out the stats I think you'll find silver is the rarest (particularly with black interior) 8)

Thanks for the reply’s, no where at the minute seams to have stock.... called UMG, the silver one has gone and he has no more coming. At the minute he said they are selling in Japan for over £1000 more than what he normally pays!!

Going back to my original post, what can I expect to get for £16,000?

The meet sounds good.. would like to be an owner by the though :D

In that case try here instead:
http://www.linney.org/HONDA_current_stock.htm and tell Ben that Paul sent you.

Most importers are now asking £17000 to £18000 for a 2001/2 model so, once you've done with your bartering, your budget shouldn't be too far out - but don't forget you'll need at least another grand for insurance :(
