Lowering question about bump stops.....

Fitted my Eibach kit last weekend and left the bump stops as normal but I've read on some forums that you need to cut them?

Anyone know if that is necessary?

on the tanabes is does advise to vut them half an inch..but i never did and it was ok. Maybe it wouldnt do any harm, it depends how hard your suspension is going to compress i suppose.

they werent cut down with my spoon progs on mate, see how she goes for a bit but should be ok

i phoned tom at tgm to ask that question and he said that they will be fine no need to cut them.
