Marks on discs after Wales day out..

Hi all,

Last week's Wales trip was my first time of using the brakes properly since fitting.

I've got rbp discs with pbs pads, hel braided lines and ate super blur fluid.

They performed great on the day!

I've noticed after the hard braking session that there are these small circular marks on the disks now, is this normal / what causes it?

Cheers

My evo's brembo discs did that after a track day. Never cause an issue or juddering but I wondered the same. Possibly just heat marks from where the cooling vanes are (or aren't)?

The roads up there do give brakes a real hammering even if you're running a decent setup. I've had brake fade and all sorts up there as well as the ABS locking and it can really give you the frighteners.

Can't comment or help you much re your query though bud sorry! I think it's just heat spots by the look of things but I could be wrong. Are the brakes still stopping alright?

ye i presumed heatspots too, there is no adverse effect to braking it still rips your face off when they are warm!

i shall keep an eye on them then.
