How hard is it to maintain a milano red car? Is there anyway to stop it from fading? going to view a DC5 at the weekend but being put off by the fact it will probably turn pink.the car in question has just had a recent respray because of this. the sun is quiet strong here(nz) in the summer and i dont have the option of parking it under cover. am i best to leave it or are there methods to help keep it red?

The red generally fades under the clearcoat due to UV exposure.
At a basic level, Waxing is adding protection.

If it is still freshly red from the factory, regular waxing will help protect it as well as keeping it in a covered parking space.

As the car you are looking at has had a respray, inquire to the type of paint used.
Generally in the aftermarket, a different paint is used which is less likely to fade, but regular maintenance will help to keep it from turning Milano Pink.

At the end of the day, all cars fade, just Milano Pink is more obvious then say the Championship cream you see.
Up to you whether a red car is what you want.
