MOT Failure and DC Sports manifold fitting

I am thinking of getting the dc sports manifold fitted....reading some older posts during my search seems to imply this would fail the car on its MOT, is this true?

The DC manifold cuts the "cat" out so it will fail on emission testing. Spoon manifolds are sold in two parts the 4-2 and the 2-1 so its easier to swap just the 2-1 with the cat for MOT time, rather than the whole thing.

dont know what the allowences are but whatever they are it wont pass without a cat even if the car is mapped crazy lean,

I'll check the NCT report when i get home, mine passed with e 5Ziegen Border exhaust, DC mani and an engine check light on for the o2 heater sensor.. Just put a bottle of dipthene in with the petrol and it was grand..
