I am getting on average 34mpg and have been for over a year now. And that's doing a 40 mile round trip, daily, with VTEC every working day. Very rare does a day pass without a bit of VTEC. And even rarer at weekends.

Must be boring trying to drive economically just so you can get decent mileage off a tank, I'd suggest getting a diesel guys if all you're interested in is getting good mileage off a full tank.

Not if you know how to drive. You don't have to be on the red-line all the time to get enjoyment out of these cars!

I used to get 200 miles from a tank on my 320bhp fully built dc2,but only 240 when it was standard. All I had to do was up the boost for 400 but never bothered.
