my dc5 wont rev past 7500rpm in 5th gear

nope, your car should hit the rev limit in every gear, assuming you have enough power to overcome the wind resistance. (which you wont have)

its cool iv found the problem my dc5 has a speed limiter at 130mph just need to chip it so iv bein told
but im sure someone will tell me if thats wrong

Speed limiter is 112 mph from Japan not 130mph :shock:

Yeah I was thinking that, it gets to 120 so quickly on the silverstone straight. Then 130 no worries then kinda drags. Probably not enough "straight". Dont think theres anything wrong with the car.

ok i got the limiter off my car years ago, only mod i had was the v2 but i went to the red line in every gear except first and stopped at 8000 rpm in sixth. but can't tell yea what speed i was doing cause my car is still in km.
i done this on a public road with a garda escort to a hospital on a motor way

So 'indicated' 160mph

More realistically, 150-155mph

I know my balls my have something to do with the factor, but were talking a very very long straight" to get it to 155. (for reference i have nor will go past the rules of the road and am talking purely for either private land or in particular track days)

i only done speeds like that on a public road was because i had too, my car has never been ran off the speedo on a public road since or in the future, i think anybody to try it is a idiot :xtsk:
