hiya people

can any one help !!!

Im after tracing the new owner of my old car cw 2002 dc5

reg W3B MA

TARA off here bought it but he recently sold it to a bloke off of pistonheads but he hasnt got any details of him

he says hes from cornwall some where

im after tracing the new owner so I can get my old private reg back if the new owner would be so kind to return it to me ,I unfortunatly forgot to get it back off tara before he sold it ,its pretty uniqie to me as my name is Mark A Webb so dont think the new owner would wish to keep it hopefully .

im hoping he may pop his head up on here as a newbie !!!

does anyone know of any ways you can trace a owner from a reg ??

probably the best way would be through the police or someone working for the DVLA that you know? A garage might also be able to track it through their system.

maybe someone on here is friendly with a copper and could find out for you.

Wouldn;t you have to buy it off the owner as they now own it if you sold it with the car :?

True, but knowing how people are when it comes to money I am sure a price would suddenly appear as you want something they have :x :(

dvla say it is not due for tax and so assume reg is still on the car.

can't tell where it is though :(

do you know if the BC kit, graphics etc are still on?

no mate I took the grapics off when I sold it to tara just had the carbon bonnet on and wing but I think tara put the car back to standard
