Nardi steering wheel horn

I am after a bit of help please.

I have just got a Nardi wheel, nrg hub and nrg quick release.

I have removed the standard wheel all fine.

I thought I would test the horn before I fit the new wheel properly.

I've connected a wire to the horn connector and just touched it one the back of the hub, hooked the hub to the quick release and coming from the quick release I have two wires but only one connector on the horn button, I've tried connect the two wires to this in a variety of different ways but the horn won't work?

Hopefully these pics should explain it better... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

dumb question: but was the horn working before you took the original wheel off?

Yeah was working fine, and if I touch that purple wire on the steering column it goes off so it is still working.

Have you tried it with the wheel fitted properly? I think it needs to be connected so it earths..

Well that's the way any horn push I have fitted works with the metal by around the outside

2ndy... I think that might have been the problem, I hooked it all up and bolted it on and it worked.

Yea the pushing the horn button is basically connecting the earth, glad ya got sorted

Cheers buddy, it was just confusing me because I had two wires but only one connection on the horn button.
