new throttle sensor installation

Hi Guys, need pick a brain, bought a new TPS sensor, put it in light stayed on instantly before start up engine, is it a trick needed e.g. adjust angle etc... anyway put scanner on it, reset ecu, came back on after 5 min while leave it idle running...pls help,

What scanner are you using? If it's a decent bi directional one, you should be able to do a TPS re calibration.
