Hi all,

Picked up my facelift DC5 on Saturday and am absolutely in love!
Completely new to the honda scene, and have to say I'm enjoying the car more and more every day :)
Only got a couple of rubbish pics atm but will get some more soon!

Welcome, and may I say what an excellent choice! ;)

There it is! I'm assuming this is the one from my neck of the woods (Leicester) Haha.

Such low miles, and It looked so clean in the advert.

Give it a wax and get some more pictures up! - Any future plans for her?

Haha you read my mind...going to go smaller with it so it fits more flush with the bumper...

Know anywhere good to get plates made up??

It was the one from Leicester indeed!

It was well worth the travelling to get it, was immaculate in person...whoever owned it previously had taken very good care of it...

Soon as the weather gets a bit less wet will give it a good detail session and see what the paint has to show off :)

Ohhh and as far as mods...only got new exhaust and air intake system in the pipeline so far...

Going to get to know the car a bit better and see what I can improve on :)

Any suggestions though??

Did it come with the original oem plate holder for the front?

If not you could always go for a smaller sticker plate for the front so it sits perfectly smooth on the bumper.

Think there is a seller on here who makes them.

Depending on what the car came with, First thing should be tyres IMO.

Then go for exhaust and intake...Just to spice up the sound :)

Unfortunately didn't come with one :(

Like the idea of the sticker plate, will give it a nice clean look.

Cheers for that, will have a search on here and find them!

Car was completely standard so a nice blank canvas to work on :)

Had new brembos and disks 4k miles ago.

Any recommendation for tyres? Think the ones on it are more cheap and cheerful and with winter coming would be nice to get some good rubber on!

I'm currently running Goodyear eagle f1 asymmetric 2's, and highly recommend them for the DC5 as would quite a few owners here.

But again, It all depends on budget and use, as more fast road/track users go for AD08'.

Plenty of tyre choice threads floating about, You're really spoiled for useful information on here... ;)

i have AD08 myself (purely for the fact they came on it and i havnt needed to look into tyres yet) but i couldnt fault them.
