Hi all , This weekend I will be picking up my first Dc5 , its the one that Andy at BHP imports has been selling ! so first owner and all that jazz !
I seem to float from the VAG game to the Honda game , last car was a mk5 golf gti ED30 running 300bhp but I didn't like it , ran a 13.6 at Santa pod so wasn't the slowest thing going , but was a golf :L
Before that I imported a jdm 96 spec dc2 with 38,000 miles on it , drove it for a month , put a cage in it and the day I caged it was the day I went sideways through a telegraph pole driving to my mums for a family emergency at 2am , had done 70 miles and binned it 10 miles from home , typical ..... lesson learnt - AD08`rs don't work too well in the moderately damp ....
Walked away from it with a bump on the head and some cuts on my arm ... safe to say I was very luck that day !
Then before that an EP3 and before that a nice and rotten UKDM DC2 , mk4 golf gti and various saxo VTS`s and VTR`s
So here's hoping to keep a Nice DC5 and plan for a Ring trip next year !
