O2 Sensor Problem

Well lads the o2 sensor before the cat was gone so i went and bought a new one off the local honda dealers

When i went to get it fitted yesterday the mechanic could not remove the old one,it was welded in to the pipe

We tried everything to remove it but it would not budge :xmad:

In the end i ended up buying a De-cat pipe section and fitted the new sensors to this

Problem is now when my car has to go for its NCT/Mot i have no cat as the old knackered sensor is stuck in it

Any ideas of how to get this out, I have tried everything i can think of i.e Heated it up with a torch, soaked it in penetrating oil, nothing works :xhelp:

On the plus side my engine light is gone out and the car feels much more responsive with the cat removed and has a lovely rasp off the exhaust not bearing in mind that it is completely standard engine and exhaust wise!

Any help with this would be great

May get a few decent drill bits for it

Well finally got the sensor removed

My uncle is a tool maker dropped it over to him this evening and he drilled it out and re-threaded the hole for me

Going to leave it off the car till my NCT/mot delighted with the de-cat pipe
