Oem manifold removal

Hi guys,

I'm trying to remove the OEM exhaust manifold. I want to remove the 2-1 part from the 4-2 part. The two sprung bolts came off easy. But the two other bolts are completely stuck, i tried them with an impact gun. But still no movement. Does any of you have any experience with these bolts being ridiculously stuck?

can't you remove it as 1 piece?
I always take it out completely when changing it for mot, might have to remove some heathshields

I could, but i have a j's racing 2-1 section, so i'm keeping the stock 4-2 section.

Might have to put some heat onto them, see if that helps.

I used a long 1/2" ratchet extension to my breaker bar, shifted it then!

Breaker bar and heat. 👍

Got it loose, had to heat it up with a high temp burner and poured water over it when it was glowing red.
