Afternoon guys,

In the next few months I'll be getting all the wee bits sorted on my car, one of which is getting the wheels refurbished

What colour would you paint OEM wheels on an Arctic Blue DC5 :?:
Black is out of the question for me as I don't like how detail, shadows etc. can not be seen.

I have a colour in mind but I'll wait till I get a few replies.

P.S. If you read this post and don't vote I will ban you

OEM/Road - Silver/Anthracite
Track based - Bright

Id stay away from the diamond cut rim as everyones got it now and looks excrement

Honda Kaiser Silver (I believe it's called), as seen on the Accord 5 spoke alloys. Sort of gunmetal/anthracite colour

I was originally thinking of a bronze colour but after the majority of people so far voting for anthracite I'm seriously giving this some thought

Any more opinions?

Thanks,

Anthracite or matt black.
i just don't like bronze and blue, its just common
i know i have gloss black wheels on a cw car and thats common aswell but it make the car not to white if you get me

Gunmetal / anthracite will look decent,
gold will make it look like a scooby so you would need to remove a plug so it sounded and went like one too ;-)

Agree with Si on the blue/gold combo - too scoobyish.

Bronze can look a bit dark in poor light.

Either Hyper silver or Anthracite.

Ed's (Suped) OEM wheels looked good and freshened everything up

I'd say Anthracite or Black.

Don't do the Matt black thing as imo it just looks dirty!

To see a pic of matt black wheels on a AB car check out my old one for sale, the dealer refurbed the wheels after i traded it in as they had quite a bit of brake dust pitting, can't say i was impressed with the look afterwards... Gunmetal/anthracite is the way forward Ian!

Suits the car well and they dont get as noticeably dirty as lighter colours!
