In with the new:

The job was done by Icetronix in Dublin. There were 4 Euro Rs outside the door. They're K20 specialists and I would recommend them.

Nice, I'm thinking about changing my wheel colour to silver.
Did they paint or powder coat them?
Also how much did they charge? (pm me if you like)

No worries, it's a bit more complex than a simple refurb.

They had wheels for sale online for 350euro. The told me via email that they could sell them to me for 150euro + my old wheels.
Turns out they made a mistake and meant to say 250 + my old wheels.
I gave them 200 and didn't really argue. They transferred the tyres from my old wheels to the new ones for free.
It also cost me about 50euro in diesel to go up and down to Dublin from where i live.

In short, they're painted and not powder coated. Powder coating costs a fortune in ireland. About 140euro a corner from quotes that i got.

Look great! Ive been onto them also but to be honest they are too far away to be running wheels down to get refurbed!

Ah ok thanks.
Yeah powder coating seems really expensive over here, might just have a go at re-doing my wheels myself

Keep an eye on Donedeal.ie I reckon... That's how i found these.... DC5 parts in ireland tend to be pretty cheap, IF you can find them!
