Oil pressure

Sometimes, maybe 1 of 5 when I start the engine, the oil pressure light is on for about 3 seconds or so. Otherwise it goes away at the second the engine starts.

Should I be worried? It has been like this the last year or so.

not much to worry about if it's been like it for a year like you said..

so how come you are concerned enough to ask about it now after a year? confused....

Im just wondering if it's normal or not. Have starting to think about if I should do something about it or not.
Maybe my oilpump isn't as healthy or is ther any "one way valve" that isn't working correctly?

I had an issue with mine where one afternoon after starting the car from cold the oil light came on but it was dim. After checking the oil level and seeing it was on the max mark i got the car recovered to TGM to be safe. It turned out to be the oil pressure switch that was failing. Tom also said that this wasn't a common issue but another owner rang up with the same issue whilst my car was in being checked. It could be something simple like the switch but it would be worth getting checked out to be sure.
