Hi All

I need to drain the oil out of my car and was wondering if anyone can tell me where the valve is to do so ?

Cheers

Luffy

if by valve you mean sump plug, would that not be found in the sump?

not sure if that sounds sarcastic, but it wasnt meant to. :D

There's no delicate way of putting this...

If you don't know where the sump plug is, perhaps you should be getting someone else to do the oil change?

True... but we're here to help :D

Best done after driving so oil is warm

Put something under sump to catch oil
Take off oil cap
Undo sump plug
Stand there watching it drain out or go make cup of tea (will take awhile to drain it properly)
Put plug back in
Fill back up with oil
Dunno if your ment to but i always go for a little drive then check level again

...especially if you're looking for a 'valve'

That would be quite handy for them quick oil changes when you don't have time to get the spanners out
