Hi all,

Just thought I'd say hi and indeed wassup.

I was previously on here about 5 years ago but can't remember my username, old email or anything! Anyway, I'm hoping to rejoin the fold and acquire an excellent conditioned, low mileage CW Teg. I have posted in the wanted section what I'm after, but might possibly go through someone like Torque GT if I'm struggling.

I previously owned a 2004 CW model (SP04LWK if it's on here?) which, out of the 29 cars I've had, is currently rated #1 on my list of sad geekiness. My scoring system covers all aspects of the car and rates them out of 10, such as performance, handling, practicality, looks, mpg etc and takes an average. (Yes I'm really THAT guy). This is top of the list on paper, as my all-round best car, and it's a list that includes the DC2, RX-7, Impreza P1 & a Megane 250 amongst others.

Consequently I am back, the DC5's siren song has been calling me from afar and I am refusing to be blindfolded or tied to the mast of a ship. :xvtec:

So anyway, hello :)

Thanks guys. Initially I was going to save for my dream car - a Skyline R34 GT-R, but reality has intervened once again and the fact that myself & Ms Clam want to move house soon, blardy blardy blah, adult world keeps encroaching on my joy!

The long & short of it is that it will have to be something fun, reliable, distinctive, rare, a bit mental and have room in the back for mother and room in the boot for stuff. Allied to the fact that I love the Integra (I have had two UK DC2's in CW and a DC5), it was the non-brainiest of all no-brainers xthumbup.

Welcome back, I would like to know your rating of the rx7. I fear moving on from the DC5 as I can't think of anything that will replace it and keep me satisfied. I think I always forget the part where I could just come back!

I rated the RX-7 a 7.8/10. It lost marks for practicality, economy and reliability (the speedo clocks became faulty and the boot struts got weak and didn't hold it up anymore). It got big marks for handling, speed, interior/driving position, rarity and looks.

Mine was running about 340bhp but the power delivery is very linear with the twin turbos and the rotary engine, there is no sudden 'shove' just a progressive, train-like pull that isn't mega satisfying, but does the job.

Hi all,

I am now the owner of a Integra again. Blimey it's good to be back, forgot how much something as simple as the gearshift can make you smile :).

This car has been seen on the forum before under the ownership of 'joeac' and latterly 'Cup_67' (although he didn't post much).

I just took these quickly in fading light so I didn't think they were worth a special 'gallery' post yet.

Teg4 (Custom) (2).JPG

(FYI the rear lights look pinky in colour in this pic but it's just the light reflecting)

I have never seen someone so cut up about selling a car before (don't think he really wanted to sell, just wasn't using the Teg enough to justify keeping it). The owner was a very nice guy and I will offer him first reusal when I come to sell. He didn't have it up for sale, just answered my wanted ad saying he might be possibly selling but was kind of torn still.

He had put brand new BC Coilovers on in the last 2 months and had a full geo fast road setup added soon after.
