Only one electric folding mirror working?

Hi,

Since buying the car only my passenger side folding mirror is working.

The drivers side one doesnt even try to move.

When folding the mirror by hand the drivers side one takes absolutely no force at all, whereas the working one requires a fair bit.

Any ideas?

Hi mate, at a guess the drivers one which isn't working might not be an electric folding one.

Easiest way to check is take off door card and see if plug connected.

also the one that is working I wouldn't recommend forcing it to fold in, could damage the motor inside.

Thought that could be a possibility.

Will check after work tonight/tomorrow.
