want opinions on how this oil cap looks and if you think it's genuine by looking at it, I have purchased it from a reputable member off here but I'm not convinced :/

yes its slightly off as well but not quite as much as yours

They were available anodised in Red...but do/should they fade?

It may have faded if the owner often cleaned the engine bay with degreaser.

When you buy them new, the centre sticker isn't attached. Someone should have fitted it and tightened it up, then put the sticker in straight - so it's then level.

I hate to say it, but all the 'ebay specials' appear to be slightly more pink then red.

I bought it off dotty on here he told me it's genuine but obviously without receipts etc I'll never really know ?

But seriously, I'm pretty sure it's safe to say it'll be genuine then If he's said so.

Yes it is genuine. I told you this via PM when you bought it, if it was fake I would have said so !
