Overfilled Radiator bottle

My Radiator bottle was showing on minimum so I poured in some of the Honda Ready mixed coolant but wasn't paying attention and have overfilled it a fair bit above the max (it isn't brimming at the top, maybe a spare 1cm at the top).
What's my best way to get it back down to the max level as I'm guessing I shouldn't go driving it when it's quiet a bit above max.

Syphon.....

Get a long tube, (bit of hose pipe) fill it with some of the stuff with ure finger over the end, stick it in the coolant hole, take ure finger off and watch it syphon out back into the bottle which should be on the floor.

If you never done that before, try it in a sink first with some water so you know what to expect.

I would not worry. if the engine gets hot enough to pop the rad cap open it will just overflow any excess in the expansion tank to the floor.

No need to have it exactly on the max level.

Thanks for the replies lads. I got a bit out using some straws and created a vacuum with finger over the end, didn't have any pipe that would fit in.
Took it down a tiny bit but it's still over max but I'll leave it now!
