Pads for spoon calipers

Hi All

I will be replacing my dc5 brembos with spoon calipers.

Are the pads the same as oem brembo pads or are they different.

Pretty sure they are the same pads as oem

That's the joy with the spoon calipers, oem discs, oem pads and no clearance problems like other kits.

Will be the same I'll be fitting to my dc5

That's what i was thinking. If you're using the same discs and pads as oem, then is there really any benefit?

The are good calipers and will be stiffer over OEM so give more consistent clamping force especially where heat is involved. But for the cost it's much better to either stick with OEM and get better 2 piece discs & PBS pads, or save more money for a proper big brake kit.
