Paint crack

So i had my rear arches rolled and the paint has cracked, what should i do to protect it temporarily, it will go in for a proper paint job in a few months just need to protect it for now?

Can i just slap some rust prevention over it?

As long as there's no rust and it's not been wet, Just paint over it (Ensuring the paint fills the crack).

As long as you won't be leaving it for any extended amount of time before getting it professionally sorted, You'll get away with apply a rust treatment direct to the rust (Hammerite Kurust for example) and then sealing with paint.

It won't stop the rust, but it'll certainly slow any spreading/expansion for a few months.
