Panel Alignment help

Hi all, I've been on the forum for a while but still looking for my first dc5 to replace my dc2.
I recently viewed an Arctic blue dc5 that I like. I couldn't fault the car (very fussy) but then I noticed that the driver's side wing was standing proud of the door. I had a good look for any signs of damage, respray etc. but couldnt find any. Even under the bonnet the bolts holding the wing on seemed untouched. I asked the owner and he said he hadn't event noticed it before (he seemed genuine).

It was worse towards the top of the panel approx. 4mm proud of the door but faded out at the bottom.
I guess I'm calling on anyone who may have some info for me. Anything else to check for? Any other reasons for this to happen?

seems like you didn't get an reply, but you should find someone who really is in that stuff like mechanic or panel beater.

May have been hit.or sometimes the door car somehow manage to damage it in the wind or some 1 may have leaned on the door.

I'd suggest as a panel as above.
