I just wanted to give them a proper mention on here as they are in my experience, one of the best places I've used for tuning and servicing. Rich and Simon have looked after many of my Honda's and Evo's over the years and I have had nothing but professional and courteous service with impeccable honesty.

I'll give you an example, I'd emailed Rich asking if he can do the belts on my daily Focus, and rather than just say yes or no, he sent me the following:

Regarding your Focus, we do service/repair regular cars but we have to opt out of some work due to not having the required special tools for the job – some diesel engine timing/locking/setting pins and tools for example.
Some are very straightforward without needing these tools but others you simply have to have them or risk causing problems for ourselves let alone the end customer.

I‘ve had a dig around for yours and in all honesty we don‘t have the tools for the job and from what I‘ve read even the dealers and specialist are in conflict over what ACTUALLY needs to be done.
Your engine either has 2x belts (one runs in oil) or a chain and belt setup – I suspect yours would be the chain and belt set up (chain drives pump from crankshaft, pump drives camshaft via belt) but there seems to be uncertainty over that due to nearly 1.5yrs of crossover period of engine production !!
That then opens another tin of worms over whether the chain ACTUALLY needs to be replaced or not – so say on earlier MYs the chain was intervalled as “life of engine” yet now Ford say 125k yet it‘s the same part.

On this occasion I‘m going to bow down to those that deal with these things day in and day out as they have the required setting data and tools not to mention the knowledge of what actually needs to be replaced.

Cheers
Rich
Now you can't argue with that!

They do everything from servicing to tuning and race car prepping, so if you're looking for somewhere to go then definitely consider these guys.

Agreed. They mapper my car a couple of months ago, hassle free and it's never missed a beat.

Also had valve clearances etc done at the same time and Rich fixed my oil seep in the process.

I will also join in. They replaced a wheel bearing and brake discs. Great communication and interaction. Recommended

So where exactly are they? I'm in Somerset, but a drive up the M5 isn't too bad if they are as described. I do use TGM for anything I can't do myself, but its always nice to keep options open. If ones busy etc, (as TGM are quite often) lol

Another positive from me.

After picking up my car from body shop it ran rough as Gandhi's flip flop. Plugged in to k manager to see wtf was happening and it seems my map had vanished. VTEC back at 4500 etc. Looked like a base map.

Gave rich a shout, sent me through the unlocked kal file as I needed to up the idle a fraction and recalibrate the tps.

All without hassle and within an hour.

Aftercare, love that.

Good stuff, he's mapped mine, he says it drives a lot better than the previous map and said the torque curve looks vastly different. I'm looking forward to picking it up.
