As the title, after pics of DC5's on Evo 8 alloys. Sure I've seen one knocking around on here but the search didn't get me any results :(

HHmmm I thought with 215's and a slight bit of camber they may tuck under. Oh well back to the drawing board!

Could I get away with 15mm spacers front and rear? Would make the wheels the equivalent to ET45 that way?

No. It would make them et23 with 15mm spacers

Told you last night they would be a struggle

Seeing as that's a track car I'm guessing its running joke camber front and rear?

does wild camber make a significant improvement in handling?

the evo wheels are similar to buddyclub p1's.....the p1's are better even! alot of pics of them about.

Yes an increase in negative camber can help handling . BUT it will be awful to drive on the motorway as it will tramline like hell and will be unstable at any speed in a straight line. It will also wear your Tyres out pretty quickly , I ran 3.5 on my car on the road and that was about as far as it would safely go before normal driving was severely compromised

I dont see any reason why they wouldnt fit with the corrcet camber.
Id pay attention to what tyre profile you use.

My alloy stats:

18x8 ET33
215/40/18 tyres
+ slightly more camber than fast road setup.

Sod compromising the handling / ride for bloomin wheels - as said in prev post the drive on roads with a lot of camber is awful and the tramlining is dangerous.

Standard wheels look much better Rob, stick with them!

I had 3 degrees at the back and while the car was planted it was a bit of a handful with tramlining etc.

Yeh think I'm just going to space out my OEM wheels tbh.

Can I get away with 15mm spacers front and rear? or 10mm front and 15mm rear? or just 10mm all round? dilemma!

Mine are 7.5x17 ET43

OEM Are 7x17 ET60

That means my wheels are 23mm closer to the arch....

So you could go for 20mm if you really wanted to.
