Pre-facelift and facelift suspension

Hey all,
I know the suspension is different between the two and the facelift suspension is slightly better. But does anyone know if the facelift suspension will fit the prefacelift?

What's different to make them not fit Si??

If coilovers fit, surely the struts are the same?

he wants to know if my face-lift struts fit hes pre face-lift, we all know the springs are different i wasn't too sure on the struts

from memory the bodyshell is drilled differently so the strut tops sit at a different angle to accomodate the differently wound springs, if you were to twist the strut tops to suit a pre facelift car the spring seats would not match and the springs would knock .

with coilovers the springs do not use the same type of seats so the strut top can be at any angle without causing a problem,
