Push start owners!!

Hey all. Does your push start light up?

I recently got a push start for my dc5 and have noticed it has a bulb but I didn‘t realise they lit up. My car hasn‘t arrived in the uk yet so I can‘t check mine

I asked my mate who has one installed if his lights up and it doesn‘t but we checked and it has a bulb, he‘s tried different bulbs with no joy.....

We are going to try mine in his the weekend

That's a coincidence. I've just been asked the same question by somebody on the Facebook page.

The push start-up button does light up - it doesn't need the lights to be turned on though. It lights up when the key is turned.

Yep mine lights up, make sure the cover is off the bulb though

I thought that stuff on the bulb was the colour? Anyway my mate has sorted his now

Did not realise the ignition hat to be on. So little led upgrade and it‘s working. 1st time I‘ve seen it ever work was only till me an wocka looked into it

Should glow red... if you take the cover off it will be white. Reds better

Mine didn't shine bright enough, you barely see it. I took the cover off and the white looks loads better.

Mine doesn‘t light up, I got the kit from Honda Access and I fitted it years ago, I‘m pretty sure it has never lit up.

So after investigating, basically the original bulbs are rubbish, I have new ones (LED‘s) on order, hopefully the new bulbs will be much better!
