Hi, just been to check over the car as I haven't done it in a couple of weeks, I was checking the fittings around where the air induction pipe fits to the throttle body, I noticed that on the throttle body there was an outlet pipe.. with nothing attached.

I assume this is normal

I have heard about that, but never really looked in to what it is about.

Tdi North fitted the RBC :)

Basically there is a water pipe that goes from the big water pipe by the block to the TB, through the TB, out the other side and back to the big pipe by the block.

All this does is loops the in and out from the big pipe and cuts out the TB completely.

I will be doing this then! Anything you need to do this? I guess this was part of the cold start process? On some cars you get a feed from the front lights because of the heat.
