Ever since I've had the car, my rear hatch light has never worked.
After swapping the bulb over and still nothing & getting really  off with this, I investigated further.
I borrowed a voltage tester and I'm only getting a 9v current so suspected that there is probably not enough to power a normal T10 5W bulb (at least that ruled out a faulty switch).
Next step was to purchase a cheap LED and found that this now works, however, the result is poor illumination.
Upgrading to a decent LED with better illumination is impossible as these require 12v
I was wondering whether the bulb connectors were coroded a bit but from the plug connector, am still only getting a 9v reading.
thoughts anyone? does anyone else get a 9v reading?
