Rears hubs/discs ep3 vs dc5

Hi all,

Can I just double check.. would dc5 disc fit on ep3 hubs? (i know from searching that ep3 discs definitely don't fit on dc5 hubs.)

No, it‘s the wrong offset. DC5r hubs and disks are 15mm ”deeper”.
I have installed EP3 hubs/discs together on my DC5 to get my low offset rims to fit better.

That's where i was going with it. I noticed my driver-side rear wheel is 15mm closer to the strut compared to my passenger side. I think its had an EP3 hub fitted at some point. No other explanation as the wheels are the same fitment, suspension is new, bodywork is straight.

However i installed DC5 discs a few years back and didn't have any fitment issues.

Thats wierd, because you shouldn‘t be able to install dc5 discs on ep3 hubs as the caliper wont line up.

Even if it was just the hub/bearing? I'll have to have a proper look around

Yes, you can have ep3 hub with ep3 disc, but you cant mix disc with hub, from dc5 and ep3
