Anyone know where to get new material for center of drivers recaro seat?
I have a huge burn hole in one of mine.

honda and honda only unfortunatley and its not cheap.
u have to buy the whole cushion too not just the fabric.

What color is it? you can try Capital seating. They stock some recaro type of fabric.

aus r is right i'm afraid, the centre material is not available from capitol (or anywhere else) other than honda and a whole cushion has to be bought.

yah i was quoted about $800AUD from local dealer.

sourced it through online trader that bought it direct from japan and got it for about $450AUD.
so prehaps contact a trader that could do that for you.

Hi

My drivers seat has discoloration on the door side bolster and have looked into getting the material through a friend of mine who is one of the head trimmers at a large luxury yacht company in the uk.

He has re-trimmed a few of my car's interior in mad leather, but can also source Alcantara and other expensive materials.

He is looking into getting me a sheet, skin or roll (whatever they call it) after xmas.
My seats are blue and i think the other colour for the dc5 recaro's is red?
I dont know for sure.

Anyway, he can get me a price from the main global suppliers once i get the colour code from Recaro.
Its apparently an expensive material, but for a sheet,roll,skin whatever (about 5 ish ft square) for the same price as Honda want for one little bit.

Any trimmer can replace a panel of the seat for a minimal charge, its only held on with these little clip things.

Ill obviously Keep everyone posted if i can get it.

When we used to get dc2's in that required recaro seat repairs, it went to an independant specialist. So it's not true that only Honda can get the material.

I'll find out the name of the company and post it up, as i would imagine a few drivers side bolsters might need replacing soon?

i havent seen DC2 seats for a while but im reasonably sure that the material on the centre of the DC5 seats is different to that on the DC2 setas.

The very reason i went with the Black seats, harder to see marks and discoloration.

try to get urself a new seat! at £350 for the centre u would be better hunting the dc5 grave yard!

when i had my seat in my dc2 repaired the cloth was slightley off you could only tell if you looked close tho but this was the only stuff thst the bloke could get.

Hi i have the same problem with my red recaro seats, the drivers side is terrible and i dont know what the colour code is, anyone know? could you get back to me, and anybody know anywhere is scotland that can do this?
