Hi guys,

I have a new scoop to fit as my old one broke.

Is there a how to guide on how to remove the scuttle panel? I dont want to break any clips etc.

Cheers

If i rember correctly Adam (Gok) has recently updated his build thread with pics of how he cleaned behind his scuttle panel. I think there was a few hints/tips on his pages of how he removed them.
You do have to remove one before the other though as they overlap... again not too sure which one first.

Hope this helps :)

The passenger side comes off without removing drivers side, its fine.

Its easy, common sense is all you need. Just be careful not to drop the clips as when they drop towards the gearbox, they are gone IME!

As Jimmer has said, I have put a post up about this but not a DIY guide. It is simple to do.

Remove rubber 'caps' either end of the scuttle by pulling them upwards. They can be quite stubborn so persist!

3 clips on the scuttle itself on the lower part

Rubber strip to be pulled off carefully (side to side)

Windscreen wipers off

Scuttle comes off on the passenger side first

Slide it downwards as the clips are on a slider within the scuttle

Same on the drivers side

Should be straight forward. Just be careful.
