Removing dirt from seam sealer?

Does anyone have any tips, tricks, products known of thatsbgood to get rid of the dirt off the seam sealer...
I'm trying to detail the engine bay and all the turret seam sealer is brown/black.. struggling to remove it all

If it's engine bay grime Bilt Hamber Surfex HD is pretty good stuff.

If it's that horrible grey scum that forms on the paintwork around the window seals etc. then the only product I've managed to remove that with so far has been rubbing compound which may be a bit too harsh for painted seam sealant.
