Removing KPRO

Where is the ECU located and i can i just remove the KPRO and replug the standard ECU in? Or would i have to disconnect battery or something else etc?

kpro is in the ECU your best bet is to swap it out for a standard one.
most people you see on the forums offer a swap with some one wanting kpro for there standard one and some cash

the ecu is in the passenger footwell as well under the glovebox

I have my standard ECU. Is it located nearer the centre footwell or which side?

Remove the cover under the glovebox.

there is a cover under the glovebox, it has 3 pivot typed clips, remove them and you will find it ,has 3 bolts..10mm or 12mm

remove the battery(some say depress the brake pedal to release any remaining power thru the brake lights,dont know if its true),i do it..better safe than sorry
