Removing The Centre Console

Im fitting my B&M quickshift this evening and was looking at the centre console and thinking how do i get this apart, i have a very short temper when it somes to anything but nuts and bolts,

any tips on removing the console?

be careful and do it gently :wink:

tbh i dont think its that hard, just the push clips that can be a pain

Done this last week.

Take the gearknob off and the plastic bit infront of the handbrake.

then take the cover where the cig lighter is off and there are two screws behind this.

there are then two screws on either side around the front of the subframe for the seat. There are then two more round the back of the console where you adjust the handbrake.

Then it should be lose at the back. Now you just have to pull the plastic bits at the front on either side and then it should just come off.

Easy enough.

When i fitted my gauges i did a step by step pic thing for removing stuff. should hlep u out..

now you mention it i saw your guide a while ago dan,

i managed to do it within to hours, was a easy actually, the instructions just made it look hard,

great bit of kit, really short throw, stiffer feel, :D

only got baffled sump left to do :D (and coilovers if i decide to get them)
