Result with 4x re040

Got a qoute for 4x re040's plus fitting from Honda £568. Then I decided to ring my cousin at toyota for a quote £520 with free fitting. He got them in the next day. When I went to pay he said it was £460. What a result.

RE040's don't really suit a DC5, you would be much better getting RE050A's or even better RE070's. I have had all on mine and the RE070's are sooooooooooooooooo much better.

UK RE040's are too soft on the sidewall for the DC5, the Jap spec ones are totally different construction and the load rating is 96 not 88.

I got all 4 RE070's for £420 + £25 for fitting, now that is a result.

Gotta agree, I'm not a fan of the 040's or the 050's, but am running the 070's and they're so much better


As for results, I paid £150 + £20 fitting for my 4 brand spanking new tyres!!!

I can hand on heart say that price would never be repeated!

They came on some wheels that had been imported, mate of a mate only wanted the wheels, I bit his hand off when he said he only wanted £150 for the tyres!!
