Just a question though is there a significant difference when using "rigid collars" as opposed to using a "4 point lower tie bar" for better handling and increased rigidity. What would you recommend out of the 2 ? Thanks

Two different things... Rigid collars keep the subframe from moving while hitting potholes, or kerbs on track. Keeping your alignment in place.
4 point lower brace, is just a brace... but as we have a big solid subframe, they wont do anything apart from add weight, and sit lower and hit on speed bumps lol.
